DISTINGUISHED CLUB, PRESIDENT, AND
SECRETARY CRITERIA
GROWTH:
- Achieve
a new member add of 30% or not less than a 3% net increase in growth of
the October 1, 2003 paid membership by the end of the administrative year.
- The President
shall sponsor at least one new member in their club.
1) Sponsor
(or co-sponsor) a new Kiwanis club
2) Sponsor
a new club in a developing Kiwanis Nation (twinning)
EDUCATION:
- Both
the club president and secretary will have attended the Club Officers
training.
- The
club will undertake an education/public relations campaign to make club?s
presence known to community.
- The
club will provide all new members a new member orientation.
- The
club will be represented at each
of the following:
1) Division
meetings
2) Mid-Year
conferences
3) District
conventions
ADMINISTRATION:
·
The club will be represented by at least one
voting delegate at the International convention.
·
All reports, as required by International and
District, will be submitted by the designated due dates.
·
Both the International and District dues will
have been paid on time for each of the semi-annual billing periods.
SERVICE:
- The
club will have completed and reported (on the Official Monthly Report) at least
two(2) service projects in each of the following categories:
1) Community
Service
2) Human
and Spiritual Values
3) Youth
Services
4) Young
Children Priority One
- The
club will sponsor and fulfill their responsibilities to a sponsored
organization or program (K-Kids, Builders Club, Key Club, Circle K, and Aktion Club) or the club may contribute US $150 to the
Kiwanis International Foundation?s Children?s Fund.
- The
club will have at least one new
service project for the year and report this project on the Official Monthly
Report.
- The
club shall have a net increase in members giving to both the International
and District Foundations or maintain 100% giving. Minimum per club giving of $5.00 per
member per foundation.
DISTINGUISHED
CLUB, PRESIDENT, & SECRETARY AWARDS:
The club shall receive a banner patch for each category
where all criteria are met.
A club will be designated as a ?Distinguished Club? when 85% of all criteria have been met. The club will receive the distinguished club
banner patch, a distinguished lapel button for the president and secretary, and
a letter from the International President acknowledging their achievement.
Presidents who have distinguished clubs will receive
distinguished president award.
Secretaries who have distinguished clubs will receive a
distinguished secretary?s award.
DISTINGUISHED DIVISION AND LT. GOVERNOR
CRITERIA
GROWTH:
- Meet
the new club building goal (as approved by the Governor)
- Achieve
a new member add of 25% or not less than a 3% net increase in growth of the
October 1, 2002 paid membership by the end of the administrative year.
- The
Lt. Governor shall sponsor at least one new member in their home club.
EDUCATION:
- Lt.
Governor shall attend all
district conventions, mid-year conferences, training and other meetings as
set by the International President and District Governor.
- Shall
provide appropriate training for all club presidents and secretaries prior
to the start of the administrative year.
- Hold
a division meeting each quarter.
- Shall
make an official visit to each club in their division by March 31.
ADMINISTRATION:
- Submit
all required reports to Kiwanis International and the District by date
due.
SERVICE:
- The
division shall maintain the number of Sponsored Youth Programs in the
Division (K-Kids, Builders clubs, Circle K clubs, Key clubs, and Aktion clubs)
- The
division shall have a net increase in clubs giving to both International
and District Foundations or maintain 100% giving. Minimum per club giving of $5.00 per
member per foundation.
DISTINGUISHED DIVISIONS AND LT. GOVERNORS AWARDS:
The division will be distinguished when 85% of the criteria have been met, and the Lt. Governor will
receive a distinguished division certificate.
Lt. Governors of distinguished divisions will receive a
Distinguished Lt. Governor award. They
will also receive a letter from the International President acknowledging the
achievement.
